Well, I couldn't resist making a Christmas "from our house to yours" card when I saw the Whimsical Wishes Clear Stamp Set - it just seemed perfect to pair with the fabulous Whimsical Houses!
The Whimsical Village collection is designed by Vicky Papaioannou and available from Spellbinders and I love it!
This time I started with a favourite dark teal coloured card base which it turned out was a perfecr match for one of the shades in the ColorWheel Cardstock Pack, so I embossed a square of the latter with the Whimsical Skies 3D Embossing Folder. I wanted to highlight the embossing with white for a swirling snow effect. But it turns out all my white ink pads have either dried up or gone a weird shade of ugh! So instead I used a Faber Castel Gelato crayon, then added some white glitter glue for some seasonal sparkle
I cut some Whimsical Houses using dark red and white card, the moon and little dog from the Village Companions die set and one of the 'trees' using the Whimsical Blooms set.
As mentioned earlier the sentiment is from Whimsical Wishes Clear Stamp Set. The Glimmer sentiment is from one of last year's Christmas sentiment sets
To complete this sceme I added tiny punched stars and some tiny gems, plus a couple of free-hand cut elements - the wonky triangle tree and the tiny door decorations.
