The Secret of Ginger and Chocolate

Hello

welcome to my little crafting place!

It's Spellbinders Club time again, and as it's July it must be Christmas. Obviously!

If you've come by in the last couple of weeks you'll know how July's Small Die of the Month club has inspired me to make a few small gifts using the dies to make them look fun and more exciting.

In the main Die of the Month club die set you'll get dies to make 3 super-cute character 'mugs'.  A reindeer, a penguin and a cute Santa.

Do you know that if you buy the Deluxe Caboodle club you get ALL the different club sets (stencils, Betterpress die sets, embossing folders, etc. etc) - but there's always something else included.  This month's gift is another little character to use as a mug, or however you like - its a super-cute Gimgerbread figure and it's adorable!

Time for some more gift wrapping I though!

What could be more perfect than some ginger chocolate? Well, it's my hubby's favourite anyway!

This wrapper is made using two lengths of card to wrap around the chocolate bar, then two sizes of the Scallop Journal Cards from the Vintage Flower Shoppe collection.

Next I made up a Gingerbread Man and aded a wobbler spring behind him before attaching to the scalloped wrap.  To finish I gave him a hat (its the walrus's hat from last month's club kit) and added a pc generated sentiment

I'll tell you a secret - I made this in the middle of a heatwave and when I picked it up to do my photos it was more than a little 'bendy', maybe more liquid than solid even.  oops!
It went into the fridge for a while and seems solid enough, but I'm going to have to test it, aren't I?
Oh dear, Poor me! 🤣🤣
