Quick and Simple Sketch

Hello

I'm back after a few days over in Southwold, Suffolk.  We're working on getting our new venture for 2018, a holiday rental apartment, up and running and ready for bookings.  It's quite a task, but we're gradually getting there, and it won't be too long until its ready for the photos to be done.  It's quite exciting, if hard work!

A new card/page map launched on The Sketch File yesterday, and this is the first card I've made using it.  What I like about this LO is how simple the basic sketch is, but how much scope it gives for simple designs and much more complicated ones too
The Sketch File; January 2018
As you can see I've kept quite closely to the LO with the rectangle background piece, the flower for the circle and the sentiment on a skinny horizontal rectangle.

.
Info:
White card blank, plus extra for the beautiful intricate panel on the rectangle
3x shades aqua Bazzill cardstock
Gold Glitter cardstock
Gold Glitter enamel dot
All the dies are by Spellbinders - info and links as follows

For the decorative background panel I used; Vintage Elegance  Filigree Booklet  Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken Shapeabilities  Etched Dies

 For the flower;

For the flourish elements behind the flower;

For the sentiment;

Oh gosh, I do love these dies!
That's it for today, thank you for looking.

Happy Crafting

Hi Kathy,

thank you for the lovely sketch and your card is oh so pretty. I think the ravishing pattern in the panel and your large floral really pops out!

I read your latest post too before coming to this one - that MUST have been frightening to see the downed tree. I always enjoy when someone shares a little personal "something" along with a post, I must do this soon as I'm JUST getting back to it after a long hiatus.

Blessings!
