Hello!
This whole blogging thing went a bit awry over the Christmas and New Year period! But I'm now trying hard to get back into the swing of it - at least until the next spot of lunacy comes along!
There's no Daring Cardmakers today (we start up again next Friday), so it seems a good time to knuckle down to a bit of a bloggy catch up. I've just spent an hour or so on a whistle-stop blog tour, seeing what some of my lovely friends have been making and sharing recently, but I'm quite well aware there are plenty still to catch up with. All in good time, eh?
Having done that, I thought I'd add something to my own blog - just to get a bit of practise in, you know....? 😉
This is a little sewing project I posted over on the Bubbly Funk Through the Letterbox blog earlier in the week.
I used a couple of the fabric hearts and gingham ribbon, along with one of the pretty heart charms from the
"Love is..." Through the Letterbox craft box
The spotty heart fabric is lovely, and the hearts are ready cut, so all I needed to do was a little bit of sewing, then add some stuffing and a little bag of something scented before sewing it up and adding the bow and heart decoration.
I've given more info about how it was made HERE
and if you explore the blog from that link you'll find lots more about the Letterbox craft boxes and the lovely things you can make using the gorgeous goodies inside!
This sort of thing makes a sweet little gift, or keep it for yourself to hang in your wardrobe or on a cupboard door
From the "Love is..." Through the Letterbox craft box I used:
Large Fabric Hearts
Some of the Gingham Ribbon
A Pewter Heart Charm
I used a tiny fraction of what popped through my letterbox in the new box! There are so many things that will both add to your favourite stash and inspire you to try new things, fabric, ribbon, die cuts, chipboard, wooden embellishments....the list goes on!
Here's a photo which shows a bit more of what you'll find in there.
Anyhoo! Thats it for this time, I have more things to share though - I've not been entirely idle craft-wise, so I'll be back with more!
Hope you'll join me again soon, please don't go without leaving a message though!
Wishing you a Happy and Craft-filled New Year
