Post Haste

Phew!
Great response to the paper giveaway - Thank You for helping me with my clear out.
All the packs are now "assigned" - one is reserved for blog candy - I'll draw a winner on Friday in my new Daring Cardmakers post - that's if I ever get a card made - it's Jane's turn and she's set us a right stinker so I may just go and hide in the cupboard till it's all over! The other 11 packs are now all accounted for, but if the promised SAEs don't come through I'll contact the next people on the request list till they are all gone.

It's been such a "cleansing" experience - to get rid of paper I'll never use - I kept some of everything and the rest went into the "share" pile - and guess what? Now I have room for more!!!!

Okay,. so it's Tuesday and As usual, we, The Daring Cardmakers, like to give you a little midweek challenge to play with. And surprise surprise I've actually manged a card for this week! woowoo

Post Haste
We'd like you to dig out all those used stamps you've been saving, or even use a brand new shiny one and use a postage stamp on your cards. No cheating allowed - no rubber stamps or other such stuff - we want you to use a REAL postage stamp for this one.

It's fantastic to see you all getting nicely "Framed" for Lynne's dare, please keep them coming as we love to see all your wonderful cards and all those inspiring ideas you bring to the blog.

Here's my little Christmas card:

The postage stamp is an Isle of Man Christmas one from a couple of years back
Paper DCVW Christmas block
silver ribbon, silver Stickles Glitter Gle, silver Krylon pen

Please visit the DCM blog for more cards and the all important message thread and links lists!

I wore my poor refresh button out today, desperate for the dare so I could sit & plan my card. Work is dead & I have to keep turning up & looking busy!!! One week to go before my hols begin & I only work 3 day weeks until Jan!!!

Anyhow, onto the card. I absolutely love this blue. It really stood out on my screen & made me feel very warm & fuzzy. I wear a lot of blue but it isn't actually my fav colour, but it is my fav for fashion! Nice safe colour!!!
