Warmer Winter, Hopefully!

Did you know?
4th October 1829
John Thompson of London designed the first greeting card.

So Happy Anniversary to cardmakers everywhere!

We've had the plumbers here today putting new radiators in our fridge-like lounge, Hopefully it won't be just a great big walk-in ice box any more. If I say that at 9 this morning, when the heating had been on since about 7 it had reached the heady temperature of 13ยบ you'll realise why I'm so excited by something as dull as a couple of radiators, mind you, these new ones are monsters they are about 60" long, same as the old ones, but they are twice as deep. We'll wait and see whether they're all fur and no knickers though.
Sorry, that's a daft phrase a friend of mum's used to say and I just think it's such a good one that I have to slip it in whenever I can.

Postie came this morning and brought these:
Aren't they great? Thank you (L-R) Karen, Tracey, Janice and Nicky (the last one is the one I made), for my lovely little houses - this was a fab swap, I really enjoyed making my houses and I enjoyed it even more when the little envelope of swaps arrived this morning.

I thought I'd share a photo of a "work-in-progress" today. so here you go. I'll add some more pics when it's all finished. but this will have to do for now.

And finally....
some more sneak peeks of the things I've made for the October Bubbly Funk Kit

Not ordered it yet?
What on earth are you waiting for? Christmas?
hahaha
