Through the Round Window

You know when you make something and you like some bits of it but not others?  These two I made at the weekend fall into that category.  I like the circle with the cut up Snowflake Wreath.  I like the trees overlapping the circle - but I'm not so sure about the whole - maybe it's the colours of  the trees and it would have been better keeping to blue, white and silver tones for the whole.  Or maybe the trees would have been better cut in glittery stuff.  And then there's the background - I think I should have used another layer in there too.  I wonder if a drawn-in stitched edge would pull it all together?
Hey ho, never mind.

Love the elements and layout! You know my patterned paper phobia though so I'd have naturally leaned towards a solid for the trees - maybe a sparkly dark green or silver? Not that there's anything at all wrong with these as they stand!

I just love everything about these cards! For me the patterned trees finish them off x

Hi, all this 'linking' is very new to me... and I'm still 'cocking' it up, but I'm 'giving it a go'! I thought your cards were great and the contrast in colours with the patterned paper was inspired

Don't be too critical of your own work (it's a weakness I have too) but these really are fab cards just as they are. xx
