Shape Shifting

Having spent the last couple of days in bed feeling poorly I've  missed a couple of days blogging, so this is a card I made at the end of last week.  I'm not overly keen on it - I think the colours of the background and the snowflake wreath are all too wishy-washy and indistinct, but I thought I'd share it anyway.
The reason for sharing it is that I'd had that turquoise coloured wreath die cut lying on my desk for a while when I happened on the thought that as it was such an intricate "stretchy" shape that it might just stretch into an oval shape instead of it's intended circle.
So I got out the Spellbinders plain ovals die set and hey presto!  it fits!  So there you go - one die 2 shapes (at least ;)) to use it for.....I wonder if it would twist into a square....
Materials and Tools:
Papers: Echo Park "Winter Park" 6x6
Red Glitter card, Rd and White Balers Twine
Red rhinestones,
Imaginisce Irocks; silver, turquoise
Sentiments made with Decal paper from Crafty Computer Paper
:Punches, EK Success small Stars
Dies: Spellbinders Plain Oval  Memory Box Frostyville Wreath

I've more of these cut and ready to stick, so that's what I'm off to do now!

Thanks for visiting today, please come back soon :)

Kathy I don't think it is wishy washy the red lifts the turquoise and I like it. Great tip with the die cut too.

Glad you are feeling a bit better. I love the card. Colours are so right for a cold and frosty morning. I fancy that die too, you really have shown us all how to make the most of it. The darker colours in the trees and the red in the twine just add the right amount of zing. I'm inspired again xx
