I've a "doubling up" card to share today! This was the first of the cards I made for Crafty Templates this month because I knew as soon as I saw it that it would work for the current sketch idea on my other blog "The Sketch File". You can see the sketch on the right, and if you pop over to The Sketch File you'll find lots of ways that my lovely teamies have found to use it.
For my Crafty Templates projects this month I optd to try and make a dent in my own stash rather than use one of Leo's fabulous Goodie Kits - this is something I do from time to time, even though I have to fight the urge to say "yes please" to the offer of more of Leo's wonderful and eclectic mixes of papers and embellishing goodies. You can find out all about the Templates Sets and the optional Goodies Kits HERE
Here's my card using the Vintage Sofa template
Sofa Template: Crafty Templates September release
Sketch; The Sketch File Blog
Papers: MME "Stella and Rose"
Small square punch, Hand cut cushions, Letters cut on Craft Robo, Ranger Enamel Accents (black)
The flowers are all cut from the same paper set
I'll come back with my other Crafty Templates projects tomorrow
I just wanted to add a quick reminder about this week's Daring Cardmakers' challenge "How Many Candles" - It was my turn to come up with our dare for this week and as it also coincided with my own birthday and the release of Funky Hand's Happy Happy Birthday CD Rom I thought a good old birthday card challenge was perfect. There's a fabulous prize on offer too - a chance to win that very CD Rom from Funky Hand - so please click HERE to visit the DCM and find out how easy it is to join in.
That's all for now, Thank you for visiting
