Serenity Garden Bouquet

Hello,

welcome to my little crafting place

This time I've a card to share using the same Serenity Garden dies from Spellbinders as used for the shadow box picture.

Susan Tierney-Cockburn's Tassel Flower die set is lovely as it is - I'd made them according to her video for the last project but now I wanted to see what other flowery creations could be made with it.

Here's the card I created

I still used Susan's Garden Specialty Cardstock, and inked the die cuts in pinky red shades.  Next I softened them with a ball tool, then sprayed them with water and crumpled each one in my hands.
Once dry I opened them out just a little and adhered the layers together.
Next I cut and made up the rest of the bouquet using the  Poetic Foliage set, I'm pretty sure this set will get a lot of use the leaf shapes are so good for bouquets and adding that bit of extra oomph to a flowery design.  I love the 'Berry Cluster' die especially - I punched loads of different sized circles to make the berries, but I'm pretty sure we have a similar flower shape in our garden, I just can't remember what it's called.
For the background I used yellow card from the  Full 48 ColorWheel Cardstock Pack 8.5" x 11" and an embossing folder bought in a recent Spellbinders clearance sale (always worth checking out!) I swiped a white ink pad over it to add a bit more shading and texture then arranged my bouquet.
I wanted to use the 'Hello' dies from the  A Little Hello Sentiments set so made that up before sticking anything down, just to check the positioning, then went ahead and completed the card, adding a double bow made with the cute Field Notes Twine Etched Dies

 I used

14 x 14cm card blank
White and black card for sentiment layers
