Hello
welcome to my little crafting place!
Today's Spellbinders clubs project uses the lovely new November Wax Seal of the Month. I gelved into myribbon and lace stash to find something to help show this oe off!
The seal itself is created with a marbling of blue and teal wax beads, and to make the glass sparkle when it catches the light I filled the upper section with fine glitter then poured the wax into it. You have to be careful not to use too much wax when you do this as it will run of and end up on your fingers - which hurts!
Fundamentally this is a 'pour and scrape' seal but with the added trick of pouring the wax into the mould while it's face up, turning it over quickly to 'swoosh' across your silicone mat to remove the main excess, then using warmed scraper tools to remove the other unwanted wax
Don't mix the wax colours in the spoon, just let the different colours mingle during the pour, then press the seal with the glittered wax glass shape into it as normal
I found this lovely white lacy ribbon and some satin ribbon in my stash to display the seal on. I added a loop of gold twine, under the seal and made a tassel with more of the twine to add some extra interest.
I hot-foiled one of the sentiments from November's Glimmer of the Month club on matching cardstock to complete the card
