Tree Trio

 Hello

welcome to my little crafting place, where Christmas cardmaking should be going full speed ahead but is just limping along in fits and starts!

A few weeks back I bought some lovely new dies from Craft Aaddiction uk and today I'm sharing the first three I've made using the Slatted Christmas Tree set

This first one is my favourite, I think the white, silver and red colourway works well but what really lifts it is the large foiled sentiment across the tree. This was a stroke of luck - one of several sentiments I made last year and saved in case they'd work for something I made this year.  This one is the Merry Christmas Glimmer sentiment plate from Spellbinders October 2024's Glimmer of the Month club - which I've checked and found still available in both in the UK and US shops. Look under the 'Clubs' tab for the "shop past clubs" section - it's the one with the Christmas lights background plate

You get three sizes of tree with this die set and for the first 2 cards I've used the middle sized one.
The one above has silver glitter card for the lowest layer and this next one has gold mirror card and is matted onto blue,

I used one of the dies from Spellbinders Essential Arches die set to cut the background from blue card that has glitter inbedded in it.

The sentiment is one of many made on the pc laid over some loops of gold thread

For card 3 I changed to a coloured card blank but used the same blue card for the arch - slightly small er than the last, and this time I've used the smallest of the tree die sets.  The, bottom laer of the tree is silver glitter card and the pc generated sentiment is matted onto the same. I've added silver thread and some punched silver stars
