Snowman Sparkle

Hello

welcome to my little crafting place!

The Spellbinders clubs for October are ready to go and there's a fab Christmas and Winter vibe this month - perfect timing to kick-start Christmas crafting!

I absolutely love all the clubs I've been working with but I'm going to start sharing my projects with a card using the Small Die of the Month club, and if you look closely the background circle is hot-foiled with this month's Glimmer of the Month plate and I've added one of the sentiments too

There are quite a lot of small pieces making up the snowman builders and I thought batch making was the easiest way to go - especially as it works really well if you want to make a good lot of cards in a similar style.

So I taped all the pieces that make up the children together with washi tape, chose a few colours from the ColorWheel Cardstock Pack then cut all of the pieces from all my chosen card colours.  Now I had a lot of pieces to work with, so I sorted them into one of my divided boxes to make life a bit easier when I set about building the little characters!

Here are the first set I made, there's still a few more to build, but I may add in some more colours when I'm ready to do that

I did the same kind of thing with the tree and snowman dies - it's quicker in the long run to cut out a batch of all the pieces first then make them up as you want them. For the card I chose a pale blue colour from from the  ColorWheel Cardstock Pack then used the Glimmer plate with some white foil to get a snowy background, and built up my picture

To finish I foiled the 4 sentiments in the kit using black foil onto white card and chose one to use on this card.  The others I'll keep for later use. I added a loop of blue twine to match the background
