Gilded Fish

  Hello

welcome to my little crafting place!

For this card I've used goodies from 3 of Spellbinders monthly kits!

The diving fishy tail seal from the August Wax Seal of the Month is lovely!  This time I used the deepest teal from the beads from the Teal Must Have Wax Bead Mix to make the basic seal.

Next I put a thin layer of PVA glue over the fish section and when it was almost dry covered the fish with gilding flakes - this is pack I've had a long time and has a mix of gold and turquoise colours in it.  It's just a little self closing bag so I have no idea where it came from!

Once completely dry I used  a small, stiff brush to take off the excess.

The white linen card base was made from a piece of A4, and left me enough to use for the raised panel

I had this deep teal card on my desk - it was meant for something else that didn't work out, so I cut a circle and a piece for the sentiment to use here

I'd already used the Small Diof the Month  to cut a batch of coral and the little fish shapes from different coloured card, and had enough to make this little collage with the wax seal added to the centre.

I used one of the sentiments from the Glimmer of the Month set - and as the fish has gold gilding I chose some gold foil, which works beautifully on the deep teal strip

To complete my card I punched out some different sized circles in teal and gold card to use as bubbles
