Today's Bubbly Funk card uses the same combo as the card I posted yesterday - it seems I can't get enough of this stencil and these pretty, peachy shades!
Info:
I taped the stencil directly onto the card blank and masked to leave three rows of bunting and a blank section at the top.
I
cut up a dried baby wipe to make some mini applicators (rolled up the
strips then folded in half to give a shape like a very small dauber) and used one for each of the chosen ink colours, rubbing the ink randomly over the stencil and building up the colours until I was satisfied with the colour distribution and depth.
I stencilled some extra flags on scrap card in the same way to cut out and make the bunting for the top section of the card.
Next
I created the happy birthday sentiment for cutting on my Silhouette
Cameo. There are several layers of the words cut in white card, then
one cut in a matching peach shade of Bazzill card - I suppose I could have used ink on the top layer if I were a more careful and accurate inker-upperer!
The stencil and inks I've used for this card, and the one I shared here yesterday (please scroll down to see that one too) came from the Bubbly Funk shop - which sadly is closing at the end of
this month :(
There is a Closing Down Sale on atm, and you' can get 50% off your
order if you enter the code you’ll see on the shop’s home page.
