Billowy Monday

Yep, the wind is still playing havoc with the pots in the garden though it's not as bad as at the end of last week and we've not had the dismal rain that other parts of the country have had over the weekend.
At around this time two years ago we were in Cuba and were completely oblivious to the weather chaos caused by the snow back in the UK.  I've been remembering this every time I think the winter is nearly over; do not count your chickens before they are hatched!

We got back on the 13th Feb - which brings me nicely to Valentines Day and the fabulous new download paper collection from Funky Hand - which I absolutely adore.  It's all reds, greys, black and white - and although there are a lot of hearts in there there are some less "hearty" designs too so this one is going to be popping out to play often!  So far I've made this card and half a little book hehe,  which I'll show soon!

I used the Jan/Feb sketch from The Sketch File BLOG  please check it out and join in if you can, we'd love to see anything you make.

The Love Love Love paper collection is available for immediate download HERE, and there's a gallery of other projects made using the papers on the same page.

Also on the Funky Hand scene, don't forget to check the GET FUNKY! challenge blog regularly as the new format means there's a new project for the current challenge appearing every couple of days. There are still a few more projects to be uploaded before the new challenge comes around - and of course you've got time before the next Funky Fifteenth to add your own project and be in with a chance of that £20 voucher prize - but don't forget to use at least one Funky Hand product or you won't qualify at all!
I'm linking my card to these challenges:
I Did It!
One Stitch at a Time
Crazy 4 Challenges

I'm setting the Photo Prompts on Bubbly Funk this week and my prompt for today si topical as I've chosen the words Billowy and/or Windy for our photos.  I stuck my head out of the back doors this morning just long enough to snap the billowing patio set cover!
And then I went through the photo archives to find a photo of a much gentler and warmer breeze billowing in the sails of the tall ship we spent a few days on during our stay in Fiji on our Round the World trip back in 2000!
Even if you're not a Bubbly Funk member you can join in as I'd love to see your photos - just leave me a link and I'll be over for a visit!
Thanks for popping in today, please come back again soon
