I can See Clearly Now....

It's the DCM time of the week again and another failure for me. I'm still playing catch-up after our hols and have failed dismally to get a card made for this weeks dare. I must try harder, I must try harder.....
We've been so lucky to have the wonderful Bety as out Guest Designer for the last two weeks, her work is soooo beautiful and having her on our Team has been fab, now though it's Bye Bye Bety and Welcome Kirsty Wiseman - now, if you've not heard that name before, well - where have you been??????? Kirsty joins the team for a couple of weeks and we're thrilled that she's able to find the time in her schedule to fit us in - this is going to be FUN!

I can See Clearly Now....is the title of this week's Dare from the Daring Cardmakers and it was set by Kel. She says;

- Okay, this week I would like you to use some acetate, vellum, plasma or anything else remotely 'see-through' on your card. That's it!

The cards from the (rest of....) the team are, as usual, FANTASTIC, so please go a long to the DCM blog and all the personal blogs and have a look. The response to all the dares is just amazing and we absolutely love checking around to see what everyone does with the challenges we set - I hope all those that come and play along get as much fun from the DCM as we do.
I'm hoping that if I manage to get myself organised and back into crafting mode after my lazy sunshine week I'll be able to catch up with the two dares I've missed - but I've got a couple of orders to do and also a whole LOAD of forum swap stuff on my "to do" list. But it's hard to get going again after the hols....

I'm just a bit(!) excited because I've just heard from Bea at Ribbon Oasis that she's just started loading the first of the photos from the Design Team for the Fabbylucious June Coffee & Creme kit. So as mine are there in the gallery I can share them here too. There are more Design Team photos to be added over the next few days so please pop back often to see what the other designers have made with this mouthwateing kit.
Here's what arrived for me to play with:
And here's a photo of the things I made; I'll put more pics on my blog in the next couple of days but this is a quick peek because I'm too excited to wait any longer!

How scrumptious are these!!!
Really love what you have made with them.
I have been asked for a minibook & am considering a maze book. Are they quite quick to make, the base of it I mean? Do I need a lot of cardstock?
