All in One Corner

We got back yesterday from a few days on the Isle of Man, where Hubby comes from.  As usual for this rock in the middle of the Irish Sea, the weather was mixed - I don't think it's ever managed 2 whole days of Summer in a row when we've been there, and this time was no exception, but there you go.  If you spent last weekend in baking hot sunshine, spare a thought for is and our one day of "warm", half day of "sun but chilly breeze", and then the "varying degrees of grey, damp and chilly" we had the rest of the time.  hahaha

Anyway, time to get back in the swing of crafting after a few weeks of travelling - before the IOM we were down in Dorset - where the weather was much kinder and we enjoyed a lovely holiday, exploring the coast and gorgeous countryside - might even get round to blogging a few photos eventually!

As it's new sketch day on The Sketch File  I've some crafting to share here today, this is my first card using July's "Corner Cluster" Layout

Materials and Tools
Smooth white card blank plus extra for embossed panel
Papers by Echo Park (I think
Black card for sentiment and butterfly bodies
Enamel dots, pearls. gems
Chevrons Embossing folder  (Crafters' Companion)
Butterfly dies (both Memory Box)
"Thanks" is from a plate by Cuttlebug

This is the sketch I used:
I used the butterflies where the ovals are and substituted the sentiment in place of one of the narrow rectangular panels

That's all for today thank you for visiting, please leave a comment - I do appreciate it!

A lovely card Kathy. The colours and butterflies are wonderful. The IOM weather sounds pretty much like the Welsh stuff, lol xx
