HAPPY AND BRIGHT

Welcome to my little crafting place! 

It's Daring Cardmakers Day again and this week it's our lovely Rizwana setting 

the challenge.

 

Rizwana says:

   After a dreadful start to our summer and torrential downpours finally we are seeing some warmer weather! Yay! 

This weeks challenge is called:

HAPPY AND BRIGHT

It’s time to celebrate by creating some super cheerful and super bright cards!

As soon as I saw this challenge I thought of the toucan and parrots from  Spellbinders May' Small Die of the Month club

I mean, what's more bright and cheerful than these fabulous birdies? 

The bonus I found when I went to get the dies out was that I'd already mad up one of eacj, Oh Happy Day!

And I even had a good start on the flowers and leaves, so in the end I just needed some extra stems and to cut out the letters for the sentiment.

I decided to leave the card base white to better show off the bright colours of the birds, flowers and letters

Is it just me that gets a buzz from finding i'm halfway there with ready to use stuff for a card?
