Hello!
This time my Spellblogger post for Spellbinders is a Valentines card.
Did you see Spellbinders previewing their new Glimmer Hot Foil System at Creativation 2018 recently? Well it may not be a Glimmer machine, but I did get a hot-foiling machine for Christmas and I've been practising and getting the hang of it over the last few weeks. I thought I'd do some hot-foiling with my machine and some regular Spellbinders dies, just to whet your appetite for when the new machine arrives in the shops.
Do you see the pretty pattern on the red heart? That's made by hot-foiling the heart with the Vintage Clover Insert from the Vintage Elegance Filigree Booklet set

Love Heart card
Red Bazzill card matted onto a plain white card blank
More white card used to cut the pierced curved layer
one red and one gold heart cut suing middle die from the Prim Hearts set
The glitter heart and the word 'Love' are from the @love Is' Craft box from Bubbly Funk Through the Letterbox. The word started out as red, but again, I used the foiling machine to change its look - you can use these machines to foil die cuts, chipboard and ribbon too.

The word YOU is also foiled, this time with a glossy red foil, the letters are from my lovely new Alphabet die set
To finish the card I punched some tiny hearts from red and gold card,
plus some from a practise foiling attempt that was lying on my desk!
