The problem with November is that suddenly I realise that the next month along will be December....and that I'm nowhere near being ready for the thing which happens near the end of that month.
Should I carry on trying to block it out as much as possible or should I start to panic already?
I have been plodding on with the Cword cards though - but I'm not nearly productive enough yet - there always seems to be something else to grab my attention.
Anyway, both my cards today are Christmas ones though I only get to keep one of them as the other went to Anice for Saturday's Funky Hand TV show. Did you see it? If you did you did better than me as for some reason the machine failed to record it. I sat down yesterday afternoon to watch and....nothing. I was a tad cross.
I hear the sunset wordbook and the springing flower elephant card both popped up again and my lovely friend Kath says she saw my cards too. I hope the sales were good for Anice, those CDs and the downloads too are such good products.
I didn't have time to blog this card on Saturday as we had to set off early for a lovely family get -together. I was afraid I wouldn't make it as I'd been feeling so bad, but I was determined to go - I was absolutely exhausted at the end of the day but it was worth it.
So here's the 4th and final card I made for the show;
The tree twirls around on in the aperture on a gold thread. The background design was printed directly onto the card, this and the other papers used here are from the Merry Berry set on the Colour Me Happy CD.
Today the latest layout idea on The Sketch File blog has gone up. along with some lovely cards from the DT. We have a new Team member to introduce this month - so please pop over and see who it is and see the new sketch.
We're hoping you'll join in and use the LO in whatever crafting you do, then link back to us.
This is my card for this month's sketch:
I've used
6x6 papers from Websters Pages Holiday Collection Combo Pack
gold glitter card, Spellbinders baubles, metallic green brads, dark red narrow ribbon
and some gold crochet thread.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you'll come back soon
Fab cards Kathy
