Warm Wishes

Hello!

Welcome to my little crafting place! Here's where I share the things I've been making, and sometimes other bits of waffle!
Today I've a couple of cards inspired by this week's One Word Prompt at the Daring Cardmakers
Jolly  Crafty Christmas Time
One Word Prompt.
WARM
What do you think of when you read that word?
What will you make inspired by WARM
Remember, anything goes -  make Tags, Bags, Cards, Décor, Boxes... whatever  takes your fancy and fits the theme - Christmas themed or not - it's up to you

This gave me a good opportunity to use the October Small Die of the Month club set from Spellbinders again.  I decided to make the cosy roll neck of his sweater into a scarf this time, by making it up twice then cutting one piece into two sections, gluing inplace to look like the ends of a scarf.
For the background I used a very old die from Memory Box that I didn't recall using, even though its so pretty. Once I'd run it through my machine I realised why I've hardly ever used it - it is an absolutel nightmare to cut properly.  I think I ran it through 4 or 5 times in the end - and used a couple of paper shims AND it still took ages to get all the little bits out.  Even then one of the snowflakes hadn't cut properly.
It is so disppointing when a die turns out to be a duff one

Thankfully the Spellbinders ones worked without a hitch, I added a sentiment from one of last year's Glimmer sentiment sets:
I added some red and white twine and thought one of my wax seals would be a great finishing touch
