Last Christmas!

 Hello!

Thanks for visiting my little crafty place - I hope you enjoy seeing what I've been making and sharing, if you have a minute, please leave a message!

As so often I'm  a little behind with my blogging.
So this time I’m hoping its not too late to share one last Christmas card!
This is the card I made for my Hubby, who opened it and said "Wow!"!

It's a box card, so although it looks a bit like an open box, it folds flat to fit in an envelope.  This one is BIG! I needed to find an A4 envelope to put it in - I'll admit to a slight miscalculation when I started making it!

The outside is plain gold card. the flaps were covered with royal blue Bazzill card and the extra bits of the mechanism were cut it plain white card

Once the box itself was made it was just a case of a LOT of die cutting, sticking all the different trees in place then making a few extra elements to add to the view

They are difficult to see in the photos, but there's a sleigh and Rudolf in there as well as Father Chrismasn with his sack. and a cheerful Snowman

It was my last Christmas 'make' of the season and I quite enjoyed creating it.  I've made a few box cards over the last few years but this is the biggest.  They look pretty impressive, but in fact they aren't too tricky and this one particularly so - it was just a bit time-consuming and I did almost run out of steam!

Thank you so much for coming by
