Rain or Shine

  Hello!
Hope you've had a good week!
The weather has been a bit weird around here with wind, bright sunshine and sudden downpours. sometimes within just a few minutes.  I'm going to blame Nat, who chose a weather-related challenge this week!

It's Nat here this week bringing you a brand new dare just in time for some weekend crafting.
Rain or Shine
Earlier this week my parents celebrated their wedding anniversary, and inspired by the four seasons of weather they experienced on that day (from a blistering heatwave to a snowstorm all in the same place)...
I want to see you feature something weather-related
on your card
It could be sunshine, rainbows, umbrellas, parasols, or even snow! The choice is yours.

Click here to see the lovely projects the design team made:

I went with a Spring weather and gardening theme as they seem to go hand in hand.  Keeping newly planted seedlings etc safe from any nasty weather, but well watered while they are bedding in takes effort and a fair bit of luck.

Info
I've used a smooth white rectangular card blank
The lovely rainbow and sunshine background paper comes from a digital download set from Poppy Moon
I inked some scraps of paper to match the colours in the papers, then die cut the boots etc using dies from Sizzix
The little sun is made using a plain circle die and a flower die from a Spellbinders set as I didn't have anything just the right size!
I've used lots of chipboard behind the various elements to get some dimension.
The sentiment was already printed so just needed cutting out from one of my pre-made black and white sets

Thank you so much for coming by
