Hello
Its been really cold here the last couple of days. Dark and miserable and cold. Ugh!
I know you're not supposed to 'wish your life away' but really...roll on Spring!
I needed to make a couple of condolence type cards recently, and I'm sharing one of them today. I used the current sketch from The Sketch File Blog. It's the December one, but the time for joining in has now been extended till next week.
It was perfect for the simple style I needed for this card
Info:
White card blank plus extra of the same card for other layers and printing the sentiment
2x shades of green card
2x shades of blue card
Tiny Blue gems
This sketch:
The Sketch File. Dec 2017 |
Dies:
For the beautiful swirl corner I used
Shapeabilities Etched Dies by Spellbinders
and for the butterfly it had to be one of my 'old favourites:
Flutters Die D-Lites Etched Dies, also from Spellbinders
I wonder if you have dies or stamps that you turn back to time and time again, like this butterfly set? I do have quite a few other butterfly die sets, but this is the one that I go back to most often.
Anyway, that's it for this time, thank you for visiting
Happy Crafting
Hi Kathy this is a stunning card I love it. Sympathy cards are never easy to make. Take care. Hugs Jackie

Really beautiful condolence card and always difficult to make. I try to make a couple of these in advance, when I am not too upset to make one.
