Colour Pop

Hello

Jolly chilly here today - woke to lots of frost this morning.  Thankfully though we have no snow and that horrible wind has dropped a bit.  The guy who brought my grocery order this morning showed me a photo of a huge tree that had come down not far from here, and OH's road to work was obstructed by a tree that had fallen partially onto a car just before he got there.  Nasty shock for that driver, though.
I'm still struggling a bit getting into some non-Christmas crafting.  I'm always desperate to make other things after all the festive stuff, but it always seems I've forgotten how to!
It was my turn to set the challenge for The Daring Cardmakers this week:

"Kathy here this time and I hope you'll have some fun with my simple challenge.
Black, White and a Pop
I'd love to see lots of Black and White cards, but with an extra little POP! of any colour of your choice.
Just CLICK HERE to see the wonderful cards the team have made to help inspire you this week - can't wait to see what you make now"

Yes, its that Art Deco die set again - and this one is my favourite of the three inserts
Info:
White card blank
Black, White and magenta pearlescent card
Matching ribbon and gems
 This die set from Spellbinders
My other card is this one.  The idea was to make a masculine card - but I'm not sure it worked out that way!
Info

White card blank
Black and White card
Orange Glitter card for the balloons
Matching ribbon

The car from the Little Guy die set
Die D-Lite sEtched Dies

Both of these die sets are from Spellbinders

I would love it if you'd join in with us this week at the Daring Cardmakers - it's such a treat to see what other crafters come up with for our challenges and it definitely inspires us to see all the creations!

That's it for now, but I'll be back soon with a Spellbloggers post and I have candy to give away!

Thanks for visiting
