Sketch File Catch Up

I completely forgot to share the card made for The Sketch File last wek, so I'm adding that one, along with a couple of cards I've made for this weeks' update too

For my cards this week I shrank down the LO to make a couple of Easter cards, featuring tulips and daffodils.  I used my new Tonic nested basic shapes die sets I've already had a lot of use from the set of squares I bought recently, so thought I'd go ahead and invest in the ovals and the rectangles.  These are different to the squares in that they have alternate plain and tiny scalloped shapes in each set.  I used some of the smaller ovals and rectangles for my cards

Info
For both cards I started by using two sizes of either square, or rectangle dies to create a frame.  I used low tack tape to fix them in place on the card front, laid an embossing mat on top then put them through my eBosser.  If you look closely at the daffodil card you can see I've used one of the scalloped rectangles for the outer frame
I made the daffodils using a punch for the outer petals and just hand cutting and inking around the inner part for the trumpet
The Tulips are made using a die
All leaves and stems are hand cut
I've used scraps of Bazzill card in pastel colours
The sentiments were pc generated
Dies:
Nested Squares, Rectangles and Ovals (all by Tonic)
Tulip Head die (Memory Box)
Scalloped border (Creative Dies by CraftStashUK)
Kikyo flower punch is an old one - I think by Carl, but I've a feeling Tonic also make a similar one
Both cards are made (loosely) following the March LO from The Sketch File

For last week's card I twisted the sketch to use the design vertically
