More Frills

I found the "Frills" challenge over on the Faring Cardmakers this week more of a challenge than I was hoping and at one point I had two unfinished cards on my desk - neither of which I was particularly happy with.  I did get both finished in the end and the one I put on Friday's blog was the second of them.  This was the one I made first though - a sort of frilly vintagey number.
Materials and Tools
Various papers from the MME Lost and Found range (12x12)
Gathered lace, Various paper flowers, Pink Ribbon flower, Narrow deep pink velvet ric-rac braid
Dies: Spellbinders large Scalloped Circle, Labels (I forget which one) Die-mamics (MFT) Doily

The aqua flower is made using a wired flower layered with several different types of Prima flower.  The ecru flower is made by cutting and coiling several "flat" paper flowers.
I think I should probably  have added a little bit of bling with a couple of pearly gems too

That's all for today, thanks for visiting, please leave a comment if you've a minute :)
