Just in case you've not met her before, she's the naughty little minx who stays here from time to time. Eventually, I boot her out and she goes to stay with Kaz, or one of my other crafty friends. Beware! she's always on the lookout for new places to hang out.
Well, this time I decided that my day or so of having her in residence was going to be more fruitful than most and have actually used a couple of the templates I made, At which point she pouted in a less than fairy-like way, stamped her little foot, twizzled her wand and left.
I rather like this one, and it's my favourite sort of Cword card; simple to put together, but eye-catching and effective. Or is that "blowing my own trumpet"?
Materials and Tools
Pinky-red Bazzill, White card scrap
Glitter card; Dusty pink. Silver
Gems; Pink, Silver, Silver thread
Dies; Spellbinders flourish (Fanciful Holiday) Cuttlebug Snowflakes, Memory Box Crystalline border
Punch Woodware tiny snowflake
Craft Robo to make the letters
The letters hang on silver thread and it was the BFoP's parting shot to make the card as difficult as possible to photograph or have standing up without those letters twirling round and facing the wrong way. So I think I might pop a smidge of glue behind them to keep them in place after all!
I'm going to make more of these in different colours, and maybe do a "joy" version as well - only three letters in that so even quicker hehe!

No it's not blowing your trumpet...it's stating the truth! It's a lovely card, I love the hanging hoops on the letters, great idea.

So the letters aren't stuck down Kathy? That is a great idea means you get a great dangle.
ReplyDeletePlease don't send the BFofP here.
