Lighting the darkness

Today's card is one of those made for the Crafty Templates September kit - yes, I've just realised that I've only remembered to blog one of them so far - so you can see one HERE and there's one more left for tomorrow....hehe

I was very much in a CAS mood with the last lot of templates - the images, along with the fab papers and other elements from the Quirky Kit (also available from Crafty Templates) just seemed to work really well on a clean white smooth card.

What better for a card with Chinese lanterns on than a Chinese proverb for the sentiment, which I kept simple by printing directly onto the card, roughly in the place I wanted it to be before adding the baker's twine and lanterns
