A-Bunting We Will Go

Another Friday, another new Daring Cardmakers challenge.
Everyone seemed to get over any problems they had with the bright shade of green that characterizes the Emerald gemstone as the cards were all fabulous.
Now it's our wonderful Jo's turn to set the dare and she's looking for lots of Bunting and Banners on our cards, so....A-Bunting We Will Go!

We've loads of family birthdays in May, so as soon as I saw Jo's challenge I knew it was a good chance to do a 2 in 1; get one of the birthday cards made and my card for this challenge at the same time.  This one's for the youngest of our nephews, who was 8 this week.
Yes!  That means I've had my card done for a couple of weeks which is almost unheard of!

Papers: Piggy Tales "Billy Goats Gruff"
Cuttlebug Aeroplane die
Punched circles and stars
Nesties Pinking Circles Die
Banner and letters on bunting are Robo cut
Triangles for bunting are hand cut and raised on scraps of chipboard
Other lettering &tiny stars from my home-made rub-ons sheet

I thought I'd do an up date on my WIP.  I've pretty much done the pages now - though there's always room for a bit of a tweak, isn't there?
I had to squish back the "frames"  to get a decent photo of the pages, but the photo gives more idea of how they look normally - which illustrates why it's called a "concertina" album
Here are the pages as they look atm, you can click for a bigger version

That leaves just the covers to do, really so I'll be back to show those when the book is all finished.

Please head over to the Daring Cardmakers BLOG and see all the festive bunting on there this week - it all looks so bright and happy today.
All for now, thanks for visiting and for all the lovely messages you leave - they really are appreciated.
