Oh, I do hope this shows up enough to read on here. One of my SiLs has just sent this aericle from a 1955 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine. Oh my word! Glad I wasn't a wife in the 50's and no doubt Will is even more glad he wasn't my hubby in the 50's!!!!!!
