I can see clearly now - revisited!

Managed to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and make this card. It's a wedding card and I think it'll be heading for Italy - well, there's an italian connection of some sort anyway. The brief was "something with gold and little roses" . I made a vellum wrap (so it qualifies for Kel's Dare - see previsous message) with some yummy vellum from pda which has tiny gold and silver foil speckles all over it, I sewed it on with several strands of fine gold thread and added some gold and red beady dangles. The message panel shows through an aperture cut in the vellum, the ros panel is stuck on the top of the vellum.
Also used:
Stardream gold, and hammered
white card from pda
Tiny gold heart brads
Red tea roses
Cats Eye chalk inks

  6. This is lovely and quite makes up for the fact that you were a bit late. I doubt any of us would have noticed if you hadn't said you were! I love the little beads you have added to the tie. It really finishes it off.

Incidentally, many thanks for the message on my blog. However, I didn't get the usual accompanying email which is odd. I only saw yours because I got any email from Lythan's comment. Weird or what!
